Zacharias K. Palios was born in Chios in 1961. He is a faculty member at the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University and an external research associate at the School of Education of the University of Crete. His academic and research interests include the History and Sociology of Education, Adult Education and the Sociology of Gender.
